Input wanted! The City of Spokane is upgrading their stormwater management in the Cochrane Basin. Along with these upgrades comes the potential for big improvements in the city park lands that will be affected by these upgrades, such as TJ Meenach River Access and the Downriver Disc Golf Course. A trailer boat launch and ADA river access may be added to the TJ Meenach parking lot, along with restrooms, lighting, and better parking. Trails along the river and Downriver Drive are being considered, as well as major changes to the Disc Golf Course, including better, lighted parking. Do these changes interest you? What part of the plan do you or don't you support? I will summarize the comments in this post and send them to the City. I've attached the documents related to this project the city sent us. Warning, they are hard to read, so best to do it on a big screen.
