We collect information from you when you subscribe to our newsletter, sign up to support our organization, or make a donation. When registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information. You are also welcome to access our site without entering any personal information.

Any personal information we collect is used for internal review and is either discarded or used by us to contact members for purposes such as those described below. We keep confidential all personal information entered during website registration and on the reply slips of direct mail.  Spokane Riverkeeper collects voluntarily race and sexual orientation of Spokane Riverkeeper organization members and affiliates, board and staff for diversity, equality and inclusion purposes.

When we do collect personally identifiable information, it is always voluntarily submitted by you (e.g., when you fill out the website registration page or send back a direct mail reply device.) The information collected is used to send our users email alerts, reminders and other information we think will be of interest, and is encrypted.

From time to time we make our membership list available to other like-minded non-profit organizations and also buy/trade lists from such organizations. In order to assist with our outreach, we do share limited personally identifiable information with our direct mail house and online data manager who maintains email lists and hard-copy mailing lists on our behalf. We do not do this for residents of the European Union.
